In Plan > Roadmap, you are able to manage roadmaps using a customizable hierarchy. Quickly and easily link the work on your team's backlog to your roadmap. Set target start and completion dates. Associate roadmap items to strategic tags to track work breakdowns.
Roadmap Items
Roadmap items represent initiatives that create or improve business value. Three levels can be tailored to your organization.
- Roadmap Items
- Initiatives
- Team Items (i.e., Epics)
Managing your Roadmap
You can manage your roadmap using the main (tree) grid. The grid allows you to drag and drop roadmap items and control their position in the highest-to-lowest priority order. If you choose to set target start and completion dates, you can do so with the editors in the details panel or by resizing or moving the timeline progress bar.
Usage Tips:
- Double-click to access the details editor for a Roadmap Item
- Set tags on Roadmap Items for tracking themes of work
Linking Epics to your Roadmap
Using the "Unlinked Epics" panel, you can quickly find Epics and drag them into your Roadmap items. It has search and filtering capabilities to locate Epics quickly.

Usage Tips: - Epics can only be planned into a single Roadmap item - If you share Epics across Boards in Jira, Hakkiri will create a "Split Epic" (In Hakkiri only) per Team so that you can plan them individually into a Roadmap item

Customizing the Hierarchy
In Setup > Roadmap Hierarchy, you can rename hierarchy levels to your liking.
